Who we are

Muddy Knees Kids Rugby is a trading name of UK Kids Rugby Ltd ("we", "us"). These terms apply to every child you book with us, including the free trial. You can contact us at ukkidsrugby@gmail.com.

Staying and watching

A parent, guardian or responsible adult you have arranged must stay for the whole session. You remain responsible for your child throughout, including before and after the session, during the break and for toilet trips.

Health and safety

  • Tell us about any medical conditions, allergies, injuries or additional needs before your child's first session, and let us know if anything changes.
  • Bring any medication your child might need, such as an inhaler. You remain responsible for giving it.
  • Only bring your child if they are well enough to take part.
  • Children must follow the coaches' instructions. We may pause or stop a child taking part if we think it isn't safe for them or others.
  • Our sessions are non-contact (tag and touch rugby) and our coaches are qualified. Rugby is still a physical, outdoor activity and minor bumps and scrapes can happen. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for injury caused by our negligence.
  • Please keep belongings with you. We can't be responsible for lost or damaged items.

Free trial and payment

  • Your child's first session is a free trial, with no obligation to carry on.
  • If you'd like to continue, we'll email you a payment link for the rest of the term. Your child's place is confirmed once you've paid.
  • Fees are paid in advance for the whole term. We don't give refunds for missed sessions or if your child stops coming part way through a term. In exceptional circumstances, such as a serious injury or moving away, we may offer a refund at our discretion. Just email us.

If we have to cancel

We've never had to cancel a session. If we ever need to because of bad weather or for safety reasons, we'll let you know as early as we can by email or WhatsApp. We don't give refunds for cancelled sessions, but we'll try to offer a make-up session where we can.

Photos and videos

  • We ask separately whether we can use photos and videos of your child. Your answer doesn't affect your booking.
  • If you say yes, we may use them in any of our marketing, including our website, social media, printed materials and online adverts. We'll never publish your child's full name.
  • If you say no, we won't use photos or videos in which your child can be recognised. We may still use images where they can't be, for example taken from behind or at a distance with their face not visible.
  • You can change your mind at any time by emailing us. We'll stop using new images of your child and remove existing ones from our website and social media where we can. We can't recall printed materials that have already been handed out.
  • Please only share photos or videos of your own child, unless the other child's parent agrees.

Your details

  • We use the details you give us to run sessions, keep children safe, take payments and contact you. We store them securely with the services we use to run the club, such as Airtable for our records, Stripe for payments, Gmail and Brevo for emails, and WhatsApp for session updates.
  • If you tell us about your child's health, we use it only to keep them safe at sessions and share it only with our coaches.
  • We'll send you updates about Muddy Knees, including future terms. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • We keep your details only for as long as we need them, including to meet our accounting obligations. We never sell your details.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your details by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will tell you about any important changes. Version: October 2026.

Our coaches are qualified. We only use your details to organise your child's sessions and keep you updated about Muddy Knees.
